Ministry and Life
My Minister - Pierre S. Pettigrew "Young men and women have tremendous
vitality and optimism. If we give them the tools,
they will gain unbridled self-confidence and
mature into solid citizens, ready, willing and
able to make meaningful contributions to
society."
Pierre S. Pettigrew, P.C., M.P.

Member of Parliament for PapineauSaint-Denis and
Minister of Human Resources Development Canada

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Isaiah 9:6-7

Ministry, God and Government
Ministry and beliefs of my heavenly colleagues in the Bible as the only inspired Word of God and as our final authority. (see 2 Timothy
3:15-16; see 2 Peter 1:20-21).

... in the only living and true God, eternally existing in Three Persons: The Father, The Son, and
The Holy Spirit. (see Deuteronomy 6:4; see Matthew 28:19)

... in the creation of humans by God and in their total depravity through sin. (see Genesis 1:27;
see Hebrews 2:6-7; see Romans 5:12; see Jeremiah 17:9)

... in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in
His vicarious and atoning death; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension and in His High
Priestly Ministry. (see John 1:1; see Isaiah 7:14; see 1 Peter 1:22; see Acts 2:31-33; see
Hebrews 7:24-25)

... the justification by faith and the new birth as essential for personal salvation. (see Galatians
1:16; see John 3:5-7)

... in the infilling of the Holy Spirit, with the initial physical evidence of speaking with other
tongues, which gives power for service, and is manifested in the fruit and gifts of the Spirit. (see
Acts 1:8, 2:4; see Galatians 5:22-23; see 1 Corinthians chapter 12, 13 and 14)

... that divine healing for the body is provided by Christs death (see Isaiah 53:4; see Matthew
8:16-17; see James 5:14-16)

... in the observance of the ordinances of Christian Baptism, by immersion for believers, and the
Lords Supper. (see Matthew 28:19; see Acts 8:37-38; see 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

... in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. (see 2 Timothy 4:1; see Acts 1:11; see 1
Thessalonians 4:13-18)

... in the eternal destiny of individuals in either Heaven or Hell according to their acceptance or
rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. (see John 5:28-29, 14:2-3; see Revelation 20:6,
see 20:11-15)
